One-Line Bio
Sukanya Rahman, dancer and visual artist, was born in Calcutta, India. She studied painting at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts in Paris under a French government scholarship and at the College of Art in Delhi. She also studied American modern dance with Martha Graham. Sukanya is the author of ‘Dancing in the Family’, a memoir first published by HarperCollins India.
